not to start the old mac/pc thing but your right- it is because you are a windows user and are custom to talk like an IT guy...
PC: "What's the location path and what type of file is it? Do you know the drive directory it resides in?"
Mac: "Where did you put the file? What kind of file is it? Which hard drive is it in?"
