hehe, 2cents...the command line is the only true way to do anything.
windows messed up when the removed most of their cl functionality.
one of the reasons why linux servers are much faster and more stable than windows servers is because you can install a linux server without the clunky overhead of ui.
if you could separate the windows ui and the underlying os, then it might actually be a great server os.
dos was great. we run a freedos box for our legacy voicemail server. that thing is a fucking tank...never crashes, never reboots, never even blips.
