Tell us more about it Rand, I know I'm not the only one that wants to know more about your day, I think there are lots of us out here that want to know some more details. Doesn't have to be profound or meaningful, just the little details, what were you saying as you viewed the couch? I get this feeling that the store had a dark wood floor and the couch was perhaps orange, a minimal design yet quite humanist, something with subtle curves. I imagine you approaching it after walking uninterestedly past several others, then, there it was. You approached and straightened the crick out of your neck, maybe you felt a little twang as a muscle released itself from a minor knot, maybe you took that as some kind of metaphor for the turn that the sight of this new couch was going to lead your mood during this somewhat stressful day. Perhaps you felt your mood begin to lift. Did you approach the couch slowly and perhaps do a kind of recon circling of it before pausing and commenting to your colleages? Did you then sit on it or was the store a little too stuffy for that? I like to think that the store was a little snooty but because you were all now feeling a little lighter of mood that you did indeed try it out, almost feeling slightly mischievous. I think this sofa had a profound placement in your day, it marked a cornerstone, a turning point, so much so that the fact of receiving a parking ticket didn't seem all so bad, infact, I bet you all laughed and made a few jokes about it. I bet you went back to the office feeling a little better for seeing that couch than if you hadn't.

I think you should buy that couch and remember this day because of it. And when you sit down on your new accquisition, perhaps you will think of this thread on NT, and perhaps, perhaps it will make you chuckle a little as you recline, easing the cricks from your neck.
