The same styles of design (i.e. the current trends) all uploaded on the same day, using the same medium by the same old bastards that do it every year.
Or in other words: "Same shit, same place...and day"
Or in other words: "Please look at me - please... please please don't look away - looklook I can do the same things as you as well - I'm cool, you're cool, we're all cool - cause we all 'get' what it means - I can do paint drips, or big chunky letters made out of dot grids, or 60° lines, or overlaid photoshop jobs, I too can do black and magenta, I can state random vague phrases to add 'depth' to my designs, see how I add small logo's as links for places as diverse as surfstation.lu, shift, designiskinky and of course, threeoh - watch in awe as I create a designers republic style loading bar (but mines thinner) and use drop shadows in flash. Thats not all - I can also do some roughly done hand-drawn type in attempt to 'craft' my designs, rather than just use the mac (it's just a tool you know) this is why I also use scanned postcards and bits of cardboard as backgrounds as I know thats the cool thing with k10k at the minute - as long as you use 'supersmall' pixel fonts mind. Also a bit of contemporary script font doesn't hurt either - especially if it's done in a stitch style, or with leaves or something. What else? Oh yes - I did my site in an early html style because overdone web design is SO passé these days. One page scrollers, layered flash, diagonal lines, paint drips, lurid colours, faded colours, halftones, non anti-aliased fonts, stylised vector plant life, vector illustrations where people have no faces, links to obscure design portals, boring news scroller, oversized type, 'look I'm using a rediscovered serif' undersized type, dot grids, graph paper, paper cut outs, DR style sounds on rollovers. Anything but my own ideas!
Or in other words: "Dennis! Es gibt eine Last des Schmutzes unten hier!"
I thank you.
