thing is, only b/c-list hipsters outhipped by the a-list hipsters have hipster phobia.
me, i like brighton beach and astoria/lic. (the latter cuz its hipification flopped and the brave first wave of invaders are left flopping on the beach, it's very funny)
but seriously, unless you want to suffer the wrath of "oh you poor thing it must suck to be you" shit from everyone in what i presume is anything like your age group, just move to williamsburg, bushwick or greenpoint, cuz you probably don't want to afford manhattan.
then, just have mock angst against your neighbourhood. bitch and moan. hate on hipsters, hate on everything. but secretly feel a sense of community and accomplishment at living there.
