Yeah...fresh tracks will be tough - snowed a few inches last night and maybe some tonight though.
Are you gonna be riding saturday too...man you need to give me more notice!
Ok...if you're looking for fresh I would suggest Blue Sky Basin. At teh top get off the lift and go right, but keep left. There is a gladed run there called Champagne Glades. It's a beauty but a bit of a horror when it get's chopped up - mind the tree wells!
Another option is to come off the lift and go left - then ride down the hill keeping to teh right of the lift you jsut took. Keep straight and floow the cornice ledge to your left. Eventually you will hit a run called Heavy Metal. This is a mellower gladed/open run than Champagne Glades...and there is *always* good stuff in the trees. I love to pop in and out riding down there.
Maybe we can meet up saturday? My friend and I were going to go ride backcountry at Loveland Pass but Vail would be cool too...
