It all depends on how big the club is.
$250 sounds like a lot for a bar, but almost nothing for one of those raves in LA with 10 sponsors and 15 major names artist in the lineup.50$ fo a cd is ridiculus..
but If its for a frinds band and will get you exposure, and its your fist job doing it, I will consider it. yes its potato chips, but you also are puting a foot on an industry, once you got going on it you will laugh of a price like that, but if its your first job.."You have to wash dishes before you become a chef.."
