    carbs are essential to your diet. If you totally eliminate carbs you can relly screw yourself up.
    Its where you get them from that matters.

    If you eat food that is processed and refined, like white flour and such, your body easily converts them to sugar and then to fat. The reason is refined foods have most of the fibre removed, which naturally balances the sugars.

    Its the reason why its cool to eat whole fruit but not fruit juice. Fruit is high in carbs but also high in fibre. When you drink the juice your only getting the carbs.

    Its important to not diet by reducing calories as your body adjusts its metabolism to the amount of calories you intake.
