....why I hardly take people seriously around here.
The Avanti was designed by Raymond Loewy in the early 60s. The design, especially for that period, was groundbreaking. What's more, the design has been only slightly modified since then - it's timeless - not unlike some of his identity design such as the Shell, Exxon, Nabisco, Lucky Strike logos. But to make such blanket statements as you have, you must have known that and I'm certain that 50 years from now, people will still be talking about your design legacy.
