"Can you bring your own design ideas when getting a business card done in letterpress or do you sit down with the letterpress design and choose metal blocks with appropriate designs for your needs?

(Feb 28 05, 11:49)"Either or ... Generally the majority of letterpress work isn't hand-set anymore (the little metal blocks), but output on plates as whole layouts. The plates are generally not metal, either. Some type of plastic. 500 business cards of one color should be around us$250-300.
