I'd say you would stand a fair chance of succeeding if you got some proper dental pliers and created a twilight cocktail of valium for your mood, vicodin or any morphine deriviative, and scopolamine. The scopolamine is the most important part as this will reduce immediate nerve pain. Which is what's going to happen if you start pulling away because you're basically pulling a tooth out of the bone that's connected to very rich network of nerves.
But I of course wouldn't recommend it, pulling wisdom teeth is usually done by a dental surgeon, not a normal dentist as it's a fairly tricky part of the mouth to get too and usually they have to break the teeth and take them out bit by bit. It's pretty hardcore shit and requires a bit of force which you probably wouldn't be able to exert yourself as your instincts will probably prevent you from actually pulling hard enough. You would inevitably cause yourself total misery, have to go to the emergency room and risk the potential of a deep tissue infection which could result in you loosing more teeth if not parts of your jaw.
So all in all extremely bad idea, but that's in a nutshell what happens.
Go to the surgeon, ask for the twilight cocktail and you wouldn't care if they chopped off your arm.
