pitchfork hated the last one too. most reviews at pitchfork are obnoxious. they give xiu xiu a 9 and mars volta gets a 2. pretentious bullshit most of it..
the album is brilliant btw. especially the song Miranda That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore. 13 minutes of bliss.
