Hey I like this :), very nice..
Might be nice with a little blurry drop shadow behind the main page, just to lift it off the background a touch..Or is that corny nowadays ? I cant keep up, lol..
I like how you did the 2 stage main image load with a low quality pic then being replaced with a full-spec one...thats a neat idea..Did you experiment at all with, eg, a chunky pixellated version of the picture loading first, might look cleaner than the low-quality jpg...or even like a posterised/vectored version ?
Also think you could get away with smaller crisper font in the left hand nav, maybe a pixel-font, thers hundreds out there.
Overall nice sense of space and weight, cool :).
Lithuania isnt it ?
