the splash page is teh ugg, and while trying to navigate the site I get the feeling that there's too much uneccessary typestrokes, like all the hyphens and underscores. other than that the navigation is simple and functional and, for the most part, attractive enough for a portfolio site. You need to definitely tone back the diagonal lines, and at least make sure that they line up fluently.
The logo: not really feeling the typeface, and the whole deer thing is pretty played-out by now. last year was the comeback year of ornamental typography and it's still quite attractive even in 2005, so maybe go that route instead of the grungy look.
