First off, you dont need to buy 2 version of the same font for Mac and PC.
Just buy TT font for PC and it will work for poth PC and Mac.
OSX reads PC TT fonts like magic.
So pretty much you only need to buy 1 font for both of you since you ar working on the same project.. and TT is the most compatable between PC and Mac. That ussually is the best way to ensure it works.
If you are using a mac version and a PC version of the same font.. it will give you problems
