I will leave the ridiculous part of this thread alone. Some of you are being very disrespectful and you should really be ashamed.
I'd like to comment (and hear other's comments) about why it seems that some people that are so blessed w/ artistic genius end up wanting to escape it. So many greats in history, Van Gogh, Hemingway, Cobain (i'll probably get ripped for that one alone), and more recently Thompson and Spaulding Gray, decided it was the better way to go.
