ninjas take it in combat for sure, but theres more to life than combat... nothing matches the panache with which pirates went about their business...
I like the attainability of piratehood as well... Its a big commitment becoming a ninja, but get us a boat, a few barrells of rum, some sabres, muskets, and an eye patch or two, and we could all start pirating tomorrow.
