If _you_ don't know, it probably means that you don't need D20's extra features of which the biggest are:
-magnesium body instead of plastic on a metal frame
-5fps instead of 3fps
-ISO up to 3200 (xt - 1600)
/actually you can easily boost iso in rebel by -1 underexposing and +1 process ing raw files/
-a wheel on the back for settingsThe first drebel was a dumbed down version of 10D, with some of the functions disabled by software. The new rebel seems like a great camera by itself. Wait until it hits the shelves, try 'em both with your hands and decide. I think rebel xt body with a $450 sigma 18-50/2.8 is a much better choice than a D20 with kit lens which is said to start being sharp at apertutes of about 8.
The xt/sigma combination will give you much better picture quality for about the same price.
