The fans kicked in, as they do, but they got faster, and louder. The noise is just them spinning, nothing broken.
But it span faster, and faster, and faster.... louder and louder. So I panicked. Pulled the plug for fear of the fans breaking!
I know these things get hot but jeeeeeez!
