caseyc - thanks for the comments mate, very interesting. We took some time on the whole navigation, as the site and it's architecture was originally designed by someone else, and when I got my hands on it to rebuild - we then had to redsign it. Myself and the client decided that the site was going to be useful for the technical and sales department by having technical and case studies in the top nav. We grouped the products together under it's own nav, and made the home page a gateway directly to the products. It seems to have worked out well. Having said this I do see where you're coming from, and would probably have gone in a similar direction if I'd have started the design from scratch. Still, we're pretty happy with it. I'll be putting it up here for final crits when the last ttwo sections are done - would love your final opinion when Ive done this!!
Love your city mate, been there loads, and wanna go back! Ghost bar is a fookin cool bar!! Do you work in a design agency there?? What's it called - I'd love to work out there!!
