weird, two years ago i was on a flight from vancouver to toronto and i was sitting beside a marketing director from the nhl, this would have been in early 2003 and he predicted then that they would strike in 2004 and wouldnt play again till 2006.
i think his judgement seems correct, these two sides are so far apart its crazy.
AT LEAST we will get to see CANADA kick some serious ass this april at the world cup. Lemieux says he will play, BOOYAH!
