The M3 is one of the last of the nicely designed BMW's. It is absolute PERFECTION and I would take it over other cars such as a Lambo Gallardo or Marciellago, any Porsche, Most Ferraris (except the 360 Modena), and just about any other car in it's class. You can drive it every day and it is the standard other cars try to meet and exceed. Chris Bangle, BMW's design chief has systematically lined up all of the BMW models and shot them full of bad design. The next incarnation of the 3 series has been split in 2 classes, 3 series = 4 doors 4 series = 2 doors. From the pics I have seen so far, I have decided to keep my 2002 325ci and wait until this design phase passes.

As for the Vette, I think Chevy did a nice job with the redesign. They certainly improved the interior, which American car manufacturers can't seem to get right on any of their cars. The Vette has always been a good buy, when compared to Euro super cars. Their problem is, the people that buy them aren't exactly the super-hip crowd.

However, I would also reccomend a look at the Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe/Nissan 350Z, These two cars are super nice. Also pretty fast. The interiors are kinda so-so but they have a nice shifter that is lickity quick.

Another sweet car is the Audi TT with the twin clutch shifter and the 3.2 Straight Six. Not a bad price with nice design and race car engine, handling and features. It's the only car sold in the US with a twin clutch until the VW GTI hits.
