I thought the guy was just asking for thoughts/opinions about those two cars. If I was about to spend $50K+, I would probably ask for a few opinions/information/experiences... etc.
Albeit, this is not exactly the forum for it unless the discussion is about design but maybe he thought he would get some genuine feedback from the community he works in/with?
