WTF? For a pissy 1500 bucks? Shit, I had over 40K-50K debt after college and I was never summoned to court.
Where do you live?
Just call them, tell them you don't have a job, and you will pay what you can in installments.
I can't believe any creditor would pull a tactic like that over 1500 bucks.
