leah dont get discouraged, same happened with my graduating class in '99 computer art major at SCAD. most folks had to switch fields and theres nothing wrong with that, If you can make design work, then cool, but if you can do something else and make a $ then great!
The reason why there is so much negativity on here is because folks have jobs they dont like, or feel like whores in their jobs, and their passion is turing into shit.
