well when i graduated the market in calgary sucked, no one here could get a job in design and to make matters worse i knew of no one here (not what you know, who you know deal). i had to get a shit job to pay the bills, and lost touch/did not get any experience so i felt unhirable. it makes me really sad, but i am thinking of trying to get back into it. i create art for fun.
