One time in day care after school (I went to a private Lutheran school from preschool through 4th grade) I threw a huge ball of clay right in the face of my friend Phillip.
I think it actually stuck to his face like a blob.My dad, ever on the lookout for the unique punishments of the day, made me write sentences, saying, "I will not throw clay or other things at people."
And halfway through he discovered me at the kitchen table doing the old letter-by-letter method...
You know, where you write all the "I's, then all the next letters, vertically, never really writing a full sentence straight through.I think I got in more trouble for making shortcuts.
