haha, i looked it up on Google yesterday. The first hit was a story about a guy who actually did trash it, actually nothing about his Mac would work afterwards... he had to do some complicated command-line stuff to slowly restore things haha..
do never touch 'system.log'
i think it basically logs all important info and actions and stuff, that's why it gets bigger and bigger in time.
time for me to do a complete disc format and reinstall everything. its about time to do it anyway..
