    I'm in the same boat. I did it a year ago, after 5 years together. I've never gotten over her yet. It is best to just cut ties and let go, and don't look back. You simply can't be friends with someone you loved that much, and then see them with someone else. We teatered back and forth for a year, trying to find a comfortable spot until I finally told her not to come over or call anymore.

    Also... write down all the bad things about the relationship right now. It will help later, and journal all your feelings. If you're mad, be mad. If you're hurt, be hurt and write it all down to get it out. Save it, and read it back when you're missing her. Other than that, all you can do is stay busy. Do things YOU always wanted to do. Take care of yourself and treat yourself well.

    Bless you man... this was the hardest thing I ever had to go through.. including my divorce - cause... I hated THAT bitch.
