Shaft has a point. I broke up with my girlfriend a year ago when she went OS, but we've still stayed in touch and I'm glad we're still friends.
But it has made it harder to let go, and that "feeling" hangs around for a lot longer. If you jsut cut the cord and walk away, it will hurt a lot more at first, but for not as long....Good luck man, but I'm sure you'll know what has to be done when the time comes.
