  you could do it that way
  that would be expansive

  but you will never know how the materials work.

  best thing to do is how other furnitures are constructed.. go to web site or store..

  find out more about the materal..

  before even prototyping, you really need to knwo what materals are out there and learn from it..

  buy a little piece and play with it.. see if its the right material for you
