    do small pro bono stuff for people, it builds a solid resume and shows future clients that you are aware of the business aspect as well. time, unless you have a salesperson that talks about you every chance hes/shes guven. preparedness. it may seem stupid but do you have a card what is on the answering machine. all these little factors are what leads a client to choose one over the other
