Hi guys,
I think is no harm trying contest but we alway need to read the rules,terms and condition before enter. I got an bad time once which is a under a well known "Federation" which held this 1.5k logo redesign contest and it was an internal contest so i happens to be the selected work and got into the final. They got quiet for a few weeks after awhile when i email them ask them for update they told me their boss don't like the design and that cause no winner even my work got into the final so from that day on I will not take contest that is not open to public and do hope others know about this :)
