good luck...i hope you get one.
one time, i asked for a raise. this was after being employed at this company for 5 years (and the last 4 years being salary freeze), being promoted twice, and have added several responsibilities w/out actual title change...i thought i might have a chance despite the salary freeze.
my boss sort of manipulated the conversation by saying "we need to come up with MBO (management business objective or whatever), then i'll hand it over to finance for a review"
it's been 5 months and we still don't have MBO yet. so i'm pretty much sure i'll never get a raise at this company.
