i do agree we DO need some sort of NEW party in the UK.
but a genuine peoples party, maybe even full of younger politicians who are actually in touch with reality.
maybe the sacrifice they make is that they are not in privilidged individuals on high wages who can claim holidays etc on expenses. i personally think the british people would respect these people more than the existing politicians because they are more like you and me.i wouldnt agree with kilroys racist remarks but i was down in birmingham last summer staying with a lass i know for a few days and each day we went into brum we'd go through an area that she said relatives and friends stayed in that the government has flooded with asylum seekers and has lowered the property value down to a THIRD of its previous value.
now this area (b4) was an idilic li'l suburb of brum.
Imagine this was your neighbourhood and your investment (home) depreciated by that much thanks to asylum seekers crammed into the area. id feel a li'l pissed off. not at THEM racially (although a lot of people would), but at the government for taking them in and putting them there.Blair is just making up his own rules as he likes. anyone watch tony+june last week. he openly admitted his decisions are not what the people of britain want, but what HE thinks is good for britain, he then went on to say, if we dont like this we can vote in opposition at the NEXT election. hrmmm and whats the choice? lol.
an an age of instant telecommunications/interactive voting etc, matters that are THAT important should be put to the vote and the PUBLIC should be the ones voting surely?grrrrr politicians!
