very interesting...
I'm not completely sold on it. Logos are what you get when you take an obscure/interesting mark and make it familiar/famous.
What you've done is taken a familiar icon and made it obscure. It's confusing and it doesn't relate very well to what you do (unless you also work for the patent office).
But props for creativity.
