    what are you people talking about?

    Vocoder is one of the main ingredients for electro/funk!!

    It has been since late 70's!!!
    Maybe even earlier than that..

    If you take the vocoder out of daft punk, there will be no daft punk at all..

    is like kraftwerk without electricity..

    coca cola without carbonation..

    michael jackson without peter pan..

    Pancho villa without a moustache..

    well, you get the point :)

    At least that is what I think..
