I don't necessarily think that you become more jaded, just a bit more picky when it comes to being impressed.
There is defintely lot of good work being done right now, just nothing that seems unique in the sense that you could attribute it to a person or group. Nando Costa, wwft, Hi-Res, Silas and the usual suspects have this uniquess and I just didn't stumble over anything that has even remotely this kind of nice selfawareness in the past 8 months.
