I think I've been lucky to not get jumped in urban areas because of 2 reasons:
1. I'm black
2. I've been 230+ lbs. since 8th grade.Not only that, I've lived most of my life in Las Vegas as opposed to SoCal, NOLA, Miami, Brooklyn, etc.) . I remember my best friend used to get in fights all the time, not to mention the time that 4black dudes beat the shit out of him at a bake sale at school in 6th grade because he tried to stop them from stealing cupcakes off his table. He was a skinny white kid (so skinny you could see his ribs where his pecs should have been) and people tried to take advantage of him, but he wasn't having it, so he usually got stomped. He seriously got his ass beat about twice a month, but he was a tough son of a bitch...
