they're all multiples of nine (the number you end up with after doing the calculations it tells you to do) and all of the multiples of 9 have the same symbol, and therefore the flash "mind reader" will automatically choose the symbol that is for every multiple of 9 and it will always know the answer. The other symbols and numbers just make it more real. It took me 10min to figure it out and my younger siblings (ages 10-14) about 5min. I was a little embarassed but who cares.
