sorry fate, but if you're only going to college because other people want you to go, then you'll lose your motivation in no time.
Best case scenario: if you enroll in a top-notch program, you might find that you like school so much that you'll breeze through.
Personal story: I went to art school REALLY late, so by that time, I knew exactly what I wanted to get out of college. I ended up doing the minimal amount of work to get all As and Bs in my classes, and used the rest of the time to network with profs, other students, do personal projects, etc. So I actually enjoyed college a lot.
