i went from having a 5'3" (1.57m) girlfriend to having a 6'1" (1.83m) girlfriend. I'm 6' (1.80m).
It took a while to adjust, especially the sex part (there's just some positions that become physically impossible), but in the end, it's not about the size unless you're some hardcore aesthete.
