And the songs they sing that sound like a peson contemplating suicide, or gushing about parental abuse...
they are really just expertly crafted, highly metaphorical songs about common household problems, like a refrigerator door coming off the hinges, or a child getting gum stuck in the carpet, or slamming your thumb in the dryer door.
