J'aime Paris!!
I was over in January and loved it, the city is stunning, I love all the "place de this" and "place de that", the spaces in the city where you can just sit and relax (although maybe not in January)
My visit was a wee bit on the weird side (but that's another story altogether and nothing to do with the city of Paris) but apart from having to get a policeman to get a taxi it was mostly positive.....
and like you say the accent is eh comment dit, formidable.
