mac vs. pc
I like both. if you can afford both get both. As a designer for web, you will need to at least test for both. 90 percent of the market is pc. so if the issue is money design for the pc. flash is faster on the pc anyway. but mac's are virtually virus free and look cool.I have both. A mac desktop, and a pc laptop. They are both essential to my business. In my opinion, Use your mac for surfing and any downloading related activity., and your pc for your applications. If used right, XP is a very quick OS, assuming you run a clean box, no virus, no spam, no unecessary shareware shit. But OSX is rock solid, rarely crashes. although your might apps crash more often.
Get both. They are both useful.
If you can only get one, get a mac.
