which news are you watching / reading?
i read an interesting article in the independant today by robert fisk about how it's so dangerous in baghdad at the moment that nearly all reporters are reporting from their hotels. reporters have to call the army to get any "facts" because if they leave their security they will probably get kidnapped. which suits the army because then it shows how bad "terrorism " is whilst also meaning they can report whatever "facts" they like, with no way of verification.
fucking shit situation, which ever way you look at it.
the elections are soon aren't they?
