spiral shapes like the swastika have been popular in every culture in any given time. the swastika itself is a greek symbol standing for hope if i'm not mistaken. you can still see it in a lot of old iron work in greece but also on some bridges in the us. there's actually a book containing a lot of swastikas worldwide in places you wouldn't expect and which has nothing to with the nazi abuse of the symbol. the other way around it's the japanese symbol for sun (also if i'm not mistaken).
anyways, as far as i understand, the use of the swastika in england is more a sign of rebellion, or really being a loud punk, a sort of fascination of the impact of the symbol or just because it's so political incorrect to use it it becomes interesting to actually flaunt it. it really has nothing to do with fascism.
