I think it was flash 5 or 6 (dont rmember exactly) where there was a little bug where swfs didnt run the same on macs and pcs unless you used 31, 51 61 fps etc. . .
That bug no longer exisits but a lot of people are used to using it and still do, I did for a while. . .but I have switched back to 30 fps, its really no different than 31 in the newer versions of flash
