troy, it wasnt easy. i used to try to defend my mother all of the time. she never let him get close to me and my brother. she was an art teacher, i could never believe she allowed the abuse. life was hard to say the least. when my brother and i got older and he put her in the hospital again, my brother and i kicked his ass and sent him to the emergency room! and i haven't talked to him since. my mother is now leaving, she is going to live with my aunt (her sister). after all of the damage has been done.
so yes, that is my sappy little story. grusome as it is, i lived it. i for some reason ended up somewhat sane.
