i think some people kinda know way in the back of their mind or subconciously that they are ready for marriage, then the dating game gets much more stringent. you start to try people on see if they fit in your life, try your last name behind their first. but you still dont imagine yourself married, then suddenly you meet someone, and you can imagine yourself being married, possibly even have children. this is probably the right person, or maybe you just love her ass, or the sex. so you move in together (important step imo) and the sex-lust fades away. what are you left with? A) life partner? (marry) B)Annoying person (do not marry).
